Jewish Student Services is a new venture on the cutting edge of program development, community building and creating meaningful Jewish experiences for students and young adults. Leveraging technology, Torah, music, and a world-wide network of professional partners, JSS reaches thousands of Jews each month. JSS also provides consulting for Jewish organizations to help them reach their target audience and achieve their own goals.
Mission Statement

SoCal Jewish Student Services is dedicated to fostering Jewish pride and love of Israel, meeting the spiritual needs of Jewish students and reaching every Jewish student at the university or high school level on an individual basis.

Jewish Student Services is part of the philanthropic vision and family of programs funded by the Deanna and Allen Alevy Family Foundation, Long Beach, California.

Why JSS?

Jewish students make up the most unaffiliated section of the Jewish community. While many teens and students do get involved, the majority —the future — remain woefully neglected and under-reached. Their involvement now will make the difference between a silent Holocaust and a Jewish renaissance. The affluence and freedom of American Jewish life, rather than being our downfall, is in fact a golden opportunity for Jewish renewal.

What it takes is youth. That is where JSS is filling the gaps, determining needs, creating programs, working hands-on to reach every Jewish student we can.

About the Founders
Jewish Student Services is part of the philanthropic vision and family of programs funded by the Deanna and Allen Alevy Family Foundation, Long Beach, California.

For over thirty years, the Alevy Family Foundation has been the major supporters of Jewish education in Greater Long Beach, and today support educational projects from California to Jerusalem.
